Mike Johnson / Design Strategist
Mike began his professional career in Bangalore, India, where he worked with social enterprises to uncover possibilities for growth and impact. As an American India Foundation Clinton Fellow, he used design thinking tools to imagine and prototype new service concepts for sustainable solid waste management in urban India. Before joining Peer Insight, he also worked as Marketing Manager at Babajob, a start-up that leverages simple mobile technology to connect people across India to better job opportunities. Mike holds a BA in Development Studies from Brown University, where he was a member of the varsity swimming team.

On my first day at PI, the firm came together for our weekly “huddle” meeting, which begins with everyone expressing gratitude for the efforts and actions of their peers. I really loved this simple, yet powerful, activity and was motivated to acknowledge people in my life that deserved some long-overdue gratitude.
